GiannaKi 说:八集半小时内的快节奏美食纪录片,每集以三个代表美食推荐三家家族式经营的新加坡美食店铺。食物的制作与家族的传承相结合,在新加坡代表美食推荐的背后展示出了新加坡多族群多文化共融共荣的特色,也借由各个家庭的故事来传递新加坡珍视“团结”“家族”“传承”的价值观。在各个家族式经营的店铺故事中,可以看出新加坡各族群人种对自己根源与传统的重视与骄傲、家族的凝聚力与对美食的手艺和匠心,传承的过程离不开的本土化、现代潮流的冲击、老一辈和新一辈不同程度的牺牲。店铺都不算大,赚的都是辛苦钱,也没有什么波澜起伏商业帝国的发展史,但平凡的市井烟火气不算波澜起伏却总是动人。
bonbon 说:看了一集讲甜点的,依旧是轻松活泼的调子。对于新加坡式的本地甜点小食有兴趣尝试,不过里边的店家顶多只是传统老师傅,说“世家”是有点言过其实的虚荣了。听主播与店家相对浅显的介绍,大概就明白为什么新加坡本土还产生不了米其林三星。
Color 说:我在这部影片看到的不只有美食,还有游子对家乡味道的坚守。在闽粤,南洋的故事依旧被津津乐道,但却缺少能一窥究竟的机会。显然,这部影片给了我对那方华人的一个了解机会,地隔千里,时隔百年,我们还是如此相像。
