剧情简介 《Dioses de México》是2022年的一部纪录片。由Helmut Dosantos精心打造的，电影Dioses de México，又名Gods of Mexico。An extraordinary cinematic experience, this award-winning, dialogue-free film examines heritage and cultural identity in the face of modernisation.
From the salt pans to the coal mines, from the north to the south – this richly layered exploration takes us into the world of Mexico’s Indigenous population and Afro-descendent communities. Sequence after sequence shows these hardworking people as they strive to preserve traditions, trying to survive in an ever-changing world. Set to the sound of hammers on stone, the beat of tribal songs and feet shuffling across the soil as its subjects endeavour to make a living, the film invites us to bear witness to acts of determined humanity.

影迷点评：
Tienn 说：主题选材、拍摄的角度，画面美学感觉都在模仿墨西哥几个著名摄影师如Graciela Iturbide、Manuel Alvarez Bravo、Mariana Yampolsky的风格，甚至连作家Juan Rulfo的摄影也有几分神似。作品的整体完程度不算高，叙事略显单一片面，但导演的野心却是展示墨西哥民族的真正内涵与精神，就此而言显然不足以让人信服，但画面与配乐仍属上品，算是差强人意吧。
Nightwing 说：根源，诗意，从愚公移山般的劳动中窥探宇宙的线索。这种视觉系地方志风格的纪录片在现实议题炸裂的当下总有点不合时宜，也许可以解释此片温吞的人气和参展情况，但拍得很好，特别是对声音的敏感。
Marutvat 说：谁是墨西哥的神？是应该抵制现代化的墨西哥人？还是把墨西哥人贬低为一些异国物品的电影工作人员？导演肯定很努力地利用墨西哥人向我们展示他对墨西哥的幻想。
