3.5。卡朋特喜欢不来，蓄势的时间太漫长，出来的那个点又对不起等待的时间。也就《火星幽灵》有变数，胜在讲述方式的梦幻感

【B】有一说一啊，卡朋特早期的类型片技法其实蛮傻愣的，无论对话戏还是枪战戏都愣的没话讲。得亏卡朋特自身携带的B级趣味很大程度上提升了影片观感，尤其以小女孩买冰淇淋那段，绝赞的氛围。另外，你永远可以相信卡朋特的电子乐。

卡朋特版本强调一种被命运操控的各方人马的「乱斗」以及乱炖一般的火拼，本质上还是属于「卡朋特恐怖宇宙」的美学，而直接射杀小孩这样的场景如今更是令人惊讶，6、70年代属于电影创作的百无禁忌时期。

Unjustifiable status as a cult classic. Given the superlative praise it has received, this just might the most overrated movie I have ever watched. There is stylishness in the gritty quality of the picture, as well as a slow & well-introduced entrapment. However, there is almost no story at all, except that some good people are ensnared in a police station and have to hold off long enough. The interactions between the characters go from unnatural to cringy, with countless miserable attempts at sounding cool. The attackers have no credible if any motivation at all, behaving as a clumsy and idiotic AI from a bad action game. As to the soundtrack, it virtually consists of a single synth loop.
